Free movie nights starting next week! Also cleanup is this Saturday

Dear movie night voters and Friends of Edgewood,

THANKS MUCH to you, and the other 98 community members who nominated, voted on, and selected the four selections being featured at this year's Edgewood Outdoor Movie Series!

WHO:  EVERYONE is invited! Bring your blanket or chairs. Co-sponsored by Friends of Edgewood and Met Branch Trail 5K
WHERE:  On the Met Branch Trail by the Rhode Island Ave NE Pedestrian Bridge and "Big Lots" shopping center 
WHEN:  At dusk (8:30ish) every Thursday in July

(Rain dates: August 4 and 11)
Just like last year, short films about other DC nonprofits' good work will precede each family-friendly feature presentation. Movies will be shown with closed-captioning so no one misses anything. We're excited!

Gloves and bags are provided. Free cook-out for volunteers afterward. Friends of Edgewood sponsors this easy volunteer activity -- the first Saturday of every monthCome meet friendly neighbors, clear litter from our sidewalks, and chat about local news and fun upcoming events.

Reminder!! Edgewood Neighborhood Cleanup TOMORROW

Thanks much to all the donors who helpfully contributed during yesterday's Do More 24 Day of Giving, raising over $160 to benefit community beautification and free, family-friendly events! Thanks also to everyone who came out to Boundary Stone last month for a good cause. 👏

Join this month's neighborhood cleanup: TOMORROW, Sat. June 4, @ 10:30-11:30 AM. Meet by Edgewood Rec. Center: 3rd and Evarts St. NE.
