Join us tomorrow- 7 years of monthly cleanups!!

Happy Friday, friends:

Please join December's Edgewood Cleanup. Meet in front of the Rec. Center (300 Evarts St. NE). Saturday, December. 5 at 10:30-11:30 AM -- nice sunny weather! Free refreshments for volunteers.

As always, the grassroots nonprofit group Friends of Edgewood sponsors this event. The community service starts here the first Saturday of every month -- seven years now! Gloves, bags, and snacks provided. Everyone is invited to come meet friendly neighbors, clear litter from our community, and stay informed on local news.

It only takes an hour, but if you can't make it, tidying outside your house helps everyone too!
Questions? Just ask cleanup founder and local government rep sally.hobaugh@gmail.com. Thanks!

Inspired Teaching School Events

Please see message from school below:

Greetings,

We are proud to share with you the news of a few upcoming special events at the Inspired Teaching School. We hope to host two very successful events that engage our community, empower our student body, and help us build the future of our school. Please find more information regarding our events below, and as always, we welcome attendance and/or participation from our community.

Inspired Teaching School will host the first of our three "Learning Showcases" of the school year. These events are (student-led) exhibitions of the work our wonderful students have been engaged in throughout the first trimester of this school year. There will be a Learning Showcase at the end of each trimester.

We will be holding our first recruitment open house of the school year from 10AM-11:30AM. Many families have already signed up to attend and learn more about our school's unique character and offerings.

As always, we are committed to encouraging our families to be considerate when parking, and we also urge them to be respectful in all interactions in and around our fine neighborhood. Please know that ensuring a respectful presence is one of our key goals.

Best,
Inspired Teaching School Staff
