Edgewood Community Garden is partnering with Washington Parks and People to host a tree planting weekend in October.
Did you know a tree can:
Increase the value of your home while decreasing cooling costs
Improve air quality by removing small pollutant particulates (i.e. sulfur dioxide, ozone, etc.)
Create habitat for plants and animals
