Rhode Island Row Block Party June 20th

School’s out, summer’s here. It’s time to party! Rhode Island Row has the perfect family-friendly way to kick off the most relaxing time of the year - a Summer Block Party with live music, beer and barbeque, and free family activities on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Neighbors can enjoy the sounds of the region’s hottest blues group, the Kelly Bell Band, while enjoying scrumptious food and drink from Carolina Kitchen’s Cook Out and Beer Garden. There’s also face painting, balloon twisting, and other summer fun for all ages. Start the season on a high note at the Row!

Reminder!!! Edgewood Neighborhood Cleanup Tomorrow

Dear Friends:

Come on out tomorrow, Saturday, June 6 for the monthly Edgewood Cleanup. Meet in front of the Rec. Center (3rd and Evarts NE) at 10:30AM. There will be refreshments and, weather permitting, grilled hot dogs for volunteers afterward. We hope you can join! 

The cleanup is sponsored by the Friends of Edgewoodand starts here the first Saturday of every month, year-round since 2008. We provide bags, gloves, and snacks. Come join friendly neighbors old and new to clear litter from our community, meet people, and stay informed. Questions? Just ask cleanup founder
