Tomorrow, February 7, is the monthly Edgewood cleanup. The forecast is a welcome warm-up to the 50s! We meet in front of the Rec. Center (300 Evarts St. NE) at 10:30 AM tomorrow. Please come out and join if you can.
The cleanup is sponsored by the Friends of Edgewood, and starts here the first Saturday of each month -- since 2008. We provide bags and gloves. Also, a BBQ and refreshments for volunteers is held at the rec around noon. Come join friendly neighbors old and new, to clear litter from our community and stay informed.
You're invited to stop by and say HI, even if you can only help for a few minutes. If you can't come out at all, keeping the sidewalk and street near your house litter-free helps us cover more area!
